Client Servicing department is the strong link between the client
and the advertising agency. This department is responsible for meeting
prospective clients and getting and boosting business for the company.
Client Servicing involves a study of the client, the product and the
market; a comprehensive analysis of consumer behavior and marketing;
sound knowledge of all available media and their cost effectiveness,
and a visionary plan to be presented to the clients.
Those professionals in the client servicing must therefore, interact
congenially with clients, gather precise information, oversee researches
where necessary, and gauge consumer attitudes based on this, work
harmoniously with the various departments of the advertising agency
to formulate and devise the most appropriate and effective advertising
strategy within the specified budget.

2. Market Research
Market Research is the department that surveys the market and scrupulously
analyses and studies consumer behavior about a product or service.
They are involved with the collection of precise data- information
about the consumers, the markets, existing competitions and so on.
The research studies provide fundamental and pivotal information to
the manufacturers, for planning and launching a new product.

3. Media Planning/Research
The Media Panning/ Research Department is solely responsible for the
planning, scheduling, booking and purchase of space and time (in newspapers,
magazines, radio and TV, and outdoor hoardings). The media planning/research
departments must therefore, devise the most effective and efficient
use for an advertising.

Creative department creates the advertisement copy.
This creative department verbalizes and visualizes the specific needs
of the clients. The Creative department designs and conceptualizes
the advertisement. This department consists of the copywriting department
and the art department.
1. Copywriting department works on text
for the ad and themes for campaign. Art department visualises the
campaign.
